School of the Arts, a nonprofit Charlotte institution that has
provided arts education for all for
nearly forty years.
Through music and visual arts instruction, the
School’s dedicated faculty and staff instill in students creativity,
discipline and confidence.
 Founded on a commitment to making the
arts available to everyone, regardless of age, ability or financial
resources, we offer a variety of programs and more than two dozen
locations to help bring the joy of the arts to the entire Charlotte
community. We believe passionately that every talent deserves to be
