CHAMBER ENSEMBLE (middle and high school)

This new CSA class is dedicated to learning string chamber music. Taught by Judy Meister,
it will focus on aspects of being a good musician:  playing in tune, performing in an ensemble
without a conductor, and learning the repertoire for string chamber ensembles.  Students
should demonstrate adequate reading skills and have experience playing out of first position.
Skills required for chamber music will develop each student’s musicianship, keeping them
involved in music for a lifetime. New students will play briefly for Ms. Meister for placement.
