Community School of the Arts welcomes you to its private music lesson program. With more than 330 students, our School is proud to have one of the largest private music programs in the region. Students may begin lessons at any time during our summer, fall or spring semesters. After reviewing the information on this page, we invite you to complete a
Lesson Scheduling Request form to begin the enrollment process. New students for the Fall 2010 semester, please note: We invite you to submit a Lesson
Scheduling Request form as soon as possible so we have your instrument, location and scheduling preferences on file. New student placement and scheduling will begin on Monday, August 9th. Traditional Instruction (Ages 6 and older, including adults)

Community School of the Arts is proud to offer instruction in rock and blues styles at
selected satellite studios. Students of all abilities are welcome: Whether you want to reconnect with your long-deferred dream of playing the guitar or mold your child’s percussive tendencies into harmonious drumming, the School’s experienced faculty can bring the joy of music to you and your family. Costs and registration procedures are the same as those for traditional music instruction. Rock and blues instruction is currently available on the following instruments:

Suzuki Strings Instruction: Violin and Cello

Community School of the Arts offers Suzuki instruction based on the repertoire and teaching philosophy of Dr. Shinichi Suzuki. Lessons are taught by experienced, professional instructors. Parents/caregivers are required to attend lessons as they will serve as home teachers. Attendance at monthly group classes is required. Fees:

An essential element of the Suzuki method is the commitment to group learning and
