Summer Camp Registration Begins!

JANUARY 30, 2010: Community School of the Arts today announced its 2010
summer arts programs and began registering students for summer camps and workshops.

This summer, the School will present a significantly expanded summer program,
including a new collaboration with Opera Carolina Academy. Programs include:

Music-Drama Workshop                (New!)
   In partnership with Opera Carolina Academy
   June 21-25
   Grades 6-12
   Spirit Square, Uptown Charlotte

Suzuki Violin Camp
   Now expanded to two weeks to serve both beginners and experienced students
   Beginners and Pre-Twinkle Students:
         July 12-16
         Ages 2.5-7
         Covenant Presbyterian Church
   Students in Book 1 and Above:
         July 19-23
         Ages 5 and up
         Covenant Presbyterian Church

Jazz Camp
   Generously sponsored by Piedmont Natural Gas
   July 19-23
   Grades 7 through 12, rising
   Trinity Presbyterian Church

Band and Orchestra Camp
   July 12-16
   Grades 4 through 12, rising
   Trinity Presbyterian Church

Preschool Arts Camp
   Now expanded to three weeks
   July 12-16, July 19-23 or July 26-30
   Ages 4-6

Kids Pottery Camp
   July 12-16, July 19-23 or August 2-6
   Ages 6-10
