PROGRAMS Music Therapy The Music Therapy Program offers group music instruction for children and adults with disabilities. Using percussive and melodic instruments and singing, students participate in live music experiences aimed at accomplishing goals associated with cognitive, motor, communicative, emotional and social development. Treva Collins is a Board Certified Music Therapist with experience working with children and adults with disabilities in various settings. On behalf of Community School of the Arts, Ms. Collins currently teaches in three senior facilities and assists elderly residents with dementia and Alzheimer’s disease.
