painting for adults
description
This customized studio class will feature group discussions, painting, lectures, studio time and individual feedback and coaching by instructor Steven Ray. Beginners and more experienced students will work side by side, receiving one on one instruction in a relaxed and supportive learning environment. Students will study various types of paint, a wide range of painting techniques, and art history. They will discover the painting process from sketch to completed work, and although they will begin the class painting still life, they also will be encouraged to bring their own ideas into the classroom to inspire their paintings.
Fall 2012 registration will begin in July. Please check back then!

| WHEN: | A 10-week session. Mondays from 6:00 to 7:30 PM February 27 through May 7, except for April 2 |
