Building the Musical Family
Join CSA for hands-on learning about music and the instrument families! Each session begins with reading a music-themed book, followed by time for building and decorating a take-home instrument. Throughout the course, we will explore string, wind, and percussion families and discover the different ways each creates sound. Playing our newly created instruments, we will sing, dance, and have fun! Along the way, students will learn about steady beat, repeated rhythm patterns, and other basic music concepts. Parents are encouraged to attend with their students.
